since i deleted my blog, because of some reasons, i have to post here.

dear ms quek,
if you are reading this (which i hope you are), i'm sorry for everything i've done. you don't deserve what i did to you.

i was lazy. you prompted me, and i refused to buck up. i realise now, how selfish i've been. Ms quek, i'm so sorry. You told me once, "you've got great potential!" I've never realised how five words from you, can change my life.

i love you miss quek, nothing you've ever done for me will come close to what any other teacher has done. i think this goes for all of us in 2O. you DESERVE that fairy god-mother award. the most dedicated teacher award.

my heart pains as i write this, knowing that i won't ever see you smiling at me and teasing me and naqiyah in class anymore. your very presence in the classroom, we never have appreciated as much.

you told us to be strong. i, personally, will try to be. i WILL, Miss Quek. Like you say, "A dinosaur must ROAR. To be a dinosaur, you must be strong. I'm a DINOSAUR." and you ARE one ms quek, you are strong. and you have one of the most kindest and trusted hearts i know.

we will be pining for you, but we cannot do anything. so we shall do our best instead, for you. you don't deserve our naughtiness ms quek.

i remember, your last lesson. with us. i wasn't even paying attention. i wasted all that time. i really regret it now.

there are some teachers, who just go into the classroom for the sake of teaching. for the sake of earning money. Ms quek goes into the classroom because she wants to. Not because of her job. But because she believes in educating us, putting in some knowledge and doing the best she can.

i see ms quek everyday, staying back. coaching weak girls i didn't even know she taught. thats how dedicated ms quek was. for the many many years ms quek has been in cedar, the school didn't even think about the effort she's put in. no recognition at all.

thats how upset i am. Its Teacher's Day and the one person who deserves to be celebrating it was saying her goodbyes, her last advice. i will miss you ms quek. i already miss you ms quek. you are loved by so many people. every 37 of us.

and i promise, i will do my best. if i get anything lower than an A2, i shall torment myself. seriously. i will TRY. i will WORK. i will do anything for MS QUEK SOO NGOH, THE GREATEST, MOST DEDICATED TEACHER THE WORLD WILL EVER SEE.
